Morning walk to school
Providing scholarships for primary, boarding and secondary school students is the largest part of our program and has a huge impact both on the individual recipients and on their families and the community.
Primary scholarships at $50 a year cover the cost of uniforms, shoes, books and school fees.
Boarding scholarships at $125 a year provide accommodation and meals at school and medical care for students should they need it. The scholarships allow them to stay in school to focus on their studies and increase completion rates from primary school.
Secondary scholarships at $500 per year pay for tuition, uniforms, books, boarding, a mattress and dishes and other fees required by the school.
FKSW makes a commitment to students to continue their scholarships for as long as they maintain their grades at the required level. These students are already sponsored by generous donors. You can become a sponsor, too! Thank you!
